Our business
Information Technology Services' (ITS) role is to provide IT Services to the Crown Agents Group internationally. Our objective is to ensure that IT activity undertaken by and for the group is to appropriate levels of quality, cost effective and risk awareness.

Role and responsibilities
The Service Technician's role is to support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware, software and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance.

This includes receiving, prioritising, documenting, and actively resolving end user service requests providing end user guidance and assistance where required according to service level agreements.

Provide inputs where required, including, but not limited to performing, reviewing and reconciling scheduled batch runs and preparing output ready for distribution.

Qualifications, skills and experience

  • College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent.
  • Desirable - ITIL Foundation certification.
  • A proven track record in a similar role within a formal IT support environment maintaining PCs, laptops & relevant peripheral hardware such as scanners, printers & monitors.
