EI Release Management Unit Manager Shanghai

Release Management is aorganizationwithin PDU Evolved Infrastructure(a PDU within DU Core and IMS, atBNET), to provide collaborative, efficient and flexible handling of Release Management activities , andresponsible forrelease management ofAXE, TSP, IS and Common Components, including release System Test, Release System Test flow, Release Handling of deliverables, and APZ Integration, alsoincluding Common Components Reference Deployment Architecture definition, design & verification, Product Support and Product Introduction preparation.
WithinRelease Managementorganization, two units are located in CBC Shanghai and working on APZ related Release Management activities.
We are now looking forLine Mangers of these two CBC Units.
As a unit manager, you are a role model and a cultural bearer and we expect you as a dynamic & result focused leaders, to motivate & Develop teams, and drive our operation to success.
Description
  • You will lead a unit (~20 people) and its operations
  • You will be responsible for a competence driven unit providing flexible manning to different Release Management activities. You will secure individual competence planning, and good coaching to unit members.
  • You will handle recruitment and staffing to provide competent and motivated personnel to Release Management activities.
  • You will ensure the effective implementation of people management activities, such as salary review, Individual Performance Management (IPM), career development.
  • You will secure effective processes are in place to support R&D Projects.
  • You will initiate and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree of Science or above, with a minimum of 2 years relevant manager/leader experiences.
  • Good business understanding and capable of seeing the big picture, and characterized as "one Ericsson" and "Customer first".
  • Proven strong leadership skills in particularly People and Thought leadership skills.
  • Proven successful track record in driving organizational innovation and Change Management through strong solution orientation. You are curious and have a constructive questioning behavior.
  • Good understanding in bringing products to GA.
  • Proven strong knowledge of verification including test process, integration process, fault slip through and test automation. Minimum 2 years experience.
  • You have good interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and strive for continuous and open communication. You must be fluent in oral and written English and have good presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of Agile/Lean, and personal experience from it's implementation is an advantage.
  • Technical knowledge of AXE is a strong advantage.
