  • HP's worldwide channel partner sales support group is now seeking a high caliber individual with proven project management skills for the position of Worldwide Partner Portal Program Manager.
  • The goal of the partner sales support group is to provide channel partners with added value and cost competitive sales & marketing information that contribute to channel revenues, growth and profit.
  • HP's global partner portal is the backbone of the communication with channel partners. It provides secured and personalized access to marketing information and supports key sales processes with distribution/wholesale and reselling partners. The portal hosts critical eServices for product, price and availability information and enables channel partners to request price discounts and order products. Quality, accessibility and usability of the information provided through the partner portal is crucial for the successful communication with HP partners - hence the prominence of this position.
  • The role of the Business Solution Architect is to drive innovation in the complex eco-system of HP Partner Portal, eCommunications and real-time publishing. It implies building solutions which are best-in-class, have high-level of usability and effectiveness, and which give HP a competitive advantage in channel business.
  • The role requires unique mastery in design of navigation and architecture of e-commerce solutions. The successful candidate will ultimately drive the conceptual architecture of the new HP Partner Portal solution based on future state business requirements and processes in channel business and the technology selected.
  • Excellent program management and communication skills are critical for the success in this position especially given the dynamic and complex business environment across multiple organizations in different geographic and time zones. She/he should be a recognized team leader delivering solutions with measurable impact on the organizations long-term goals and objectives, able to lead, coach and mentor others.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years working experience
  • 5 years of experience in design of ecommerce solutions, based on latest Web and portal technologies
  • Ability to develop and execute multi-year programs
  • Ability to work with remote and virtual teams in distributed, international environments
  • Excellent and effective communications skills written and verbal, with experience in communication to senior executives
  • Proven change management experience and ability to overcome change resistance
