Qualification and Experience	• A Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology • University teaching experience
Duties	1. To teach Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Food fermentation, Functional Foods and Diet Supplements, food Ingredient technology in Product development and food Processing. 2. To supervise student’s research projects at undergraduate and graduate level. 3. To supervise students for field attachment 4. To conduct research and service activities in the department 5. To carry out community service.

PROFESSOR/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/ SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER SCIENCE

Qualification and Experience	• A Ph.D. in Consumer Science Education or a Ph.D. in Home Economics Education or a Ph.D. In Vocational Home Economics Education. • University teaching experience
Duties	1. To teach professional Home Economics Education/ Consumer Science Education undergraduate and post graduate courses. 2. To supervise student’s research projects at undergraduate and graduate level. 3. To supervise student’s for teaching practice. 4. To conduct research and service activities in the department. 5. SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER SCIENCE

Qualification and Experience	• A Ph.D. in Textile, Apparel Design and Management. • University teaching experience
Duties	1. To teach Art, Textile Science, Apparel Design and Construction, Computer Aided Design, Simulation of Garment Manufacturing, Textile Prints, Fashion Illustration, Portfolio Making and exhibition. 2. To supervise student’s research projects at undergraduate and graduate level. 3. To conduct research and service activities in the department. 4. To carry out community service.

DIRECTOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Qualification and Experience	• MBA or relevant MA/ MSc Degree. • B.Com or related Bachelor’s Degree with major in Business, Marketing or related field. • At least 3 years’ experience relevant area.
Duties	1. To manage the Centre 2. To execute the strategic plan of the Center. 3. To conduct research. 4. To carry out community service.

LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF MIDWIFERY

Qualification and Experience	• A Ph.D. in Midwifery/ Nursing Masters in Midwifery, BSc. Nursing Degree • University teaching experience will be an added advantage.
Duties	1. To teaching Midwifery students. 2. To conduct research. 3. To carry out community service. • A successful candidate will be expected to register with the Swaziland Nursing Council.

SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CROP PRODUCTION

Qualification and Experience	• A Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology. • Should have experience in teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level
Duties	1. To teach Agricultural Entomology including Systematic, Toxicology, Physiology, Crop pests and Pest Control of cultivated crops and Storage pests. 2. To teach Agricultural Entomology including IPM and Insect Taxonomy at Post-graduate level. 3. To supervise research projects for undergraduate students. 4. To supervise thesis/ dissertation for post- graduate students. 5. To conduct research in Agricultural Entomology and related areas. 6. To perform community service in Agricultural Entomology and related areas.

PROFESSOR/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CROP PRODUCTION

Qualification and Experience	• A Ph.D. in Agronomy or Horticulture with Plant Physiology as an area of specialization. • Should have experience in teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level
Duties	1. To teach Crop Botany, Crop Physiology and other agronomy related courses at undergraduate level. 2. To teach Plant Physiology – related courses at post-graduate level. 3. To teach Weed Science to undergraduate and post-graduate students. 4. To supervise research projects for undergraduate and Thesis for post-graduate students. 5. To conduct research in Plant science. 6. To carry out community service in Plant Science related areas.

SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS

PROFESSOR/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN THE DEPARTMENT OF LAW

Qualification and Experience	• Must at least have an LLM and must have taught in a Roman Dutch Jurisdiction. • Experience in Clinical Legal Education is essential.
Duties	1. To teach Legal Drafting and Interpretation of Statues, Clinical Legal Education, Jurisprudence. 2. To supervise students research. 3. To conduct research. 4. To carry out community service.

SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF JURNALISM AND MASS COMMUNICATION

Qualification and Experience	• At least a Master’s Degree in Journalism, Media Studies Mass Communication. • University teaching experience will be an added advantage.
Duties	1. To teach Broadcast Journalism at undergraduate level. 2. To conduct research in the fields of Journalism and/ or Media Studies. 3. To carry out community service.

PROFESSOR/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/ SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIOLOGY AND SOCIAL SCIENCE

Qualification and Experience	• A PhD Degree in Sociology with 10 years of university teaching experience. • Professor is expected to assist with the mounting of the restructured, social work and Master’s Program.
