Title: Systems Engineer ID: TEC00020198 Description Job Description : Project Summary and position overview : This is a replacement position for System Engineer whose primary tasks include 3rd line application support. Person is expected to closely work with the development team Day to Day Responsibilities : - Is accountable for contributions for Support team or sub team. - Need to analyze, debug and provide quick work arounds to client issues - Works independently within defined parameters, taking ownership of problems within own area of knowledge. - Decisions taken are made within guidelines set by others. - Makes recommendations for process improvements to immediate manager. - Ability to coordinate and support related groups, such as developement/QA/Product team. - Requires good understanding of product work flows and software code base. Qualifications Education Qualification : B.E., B.Tech., MCA, Or any other bachelor/master degree in computer science Required Skills : - VB, VBA, COM - 2+ years experience - Excellent written English, good verbal communication, knowledge of MS Office product - Experience in developing MS Excel Add-in Desired Skills - .NET Skills - C#, ASP.NET , Knowledge on web servers At Thomson Reuters, we believe what we do matters.
