JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent serves as a Supervisory International Broadcaster and is responsible for assigning, organizing and producing a block of news and feature programming for Internet and radio, targeted to Africa in the English Division of the Voice of America. The incumbent decides on specific content of programs, their accuracy, quality and suitability for a regional audience and selects material from a variety of sources and assures their accuracy, balance and reliability.
