We're looking for a Software engineer with a passion and commitment to design, implement and maintain installs for products in Autodesk's Manufacturing Division.
Job Title: Software Development Engineer
Location: Shanghai
Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot for simulation applications.
- Deliver results that meet product specifications with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Optimize source code to effectively leverage object-oriented design, development, and code reuse.
- Work as an integral member of a high performance team making important individual contributions.
- Estimate schedules for projects undertaken and complete them on time
- Work with extended teams; Product Design, QA, Technical Publications
Requirements:
- BS degree required, MS/PhD degree preferred, in Computer Science or Engineering, Applied mathematics, Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or etc.
- 3+ years experience in software product development on desktop or web service platform
- Comprehensive technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.
- Rich knowledge of C/C++ and object-oriented design techniques.
- Good analytical and design skills at product level.
- Familiarity with software development process
- Competent written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Environment is a nice plus
- Experience with web application is a nice plus
- Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) domain knowledge is a nice plus
- Experience with OpenGL, DirectX and GDI is a nice plus
