Our Traffic and Transport team partners with its clients to provide traffic and transport solutions for the community. We currently seek an experienced transport planner or traffic engineer with specialist skills and experience in transport modelling. The successful candidate will lead our transport modelling team in delivering transport projects throughout the world. Whilst our team has offices in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, this current opportunity will be based in either our Brisbane or Perth offices.

With a passion for shaping transport system outcomes, you will be involved in the formulation of traffic models including microsimulation and strategic models as part of major transport and development projects. This position will allow you to develop and apply your leadership skills to manage and build our transport modelling team, as well as promote client relationships and deliver projects.

You will work alongside experienced traffic and transport professionals assisting you to develop your skills and enhance your career. Our work offers opportunities for travel throughout Australia and the world.

The key skills essential for success in the current positions include:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role (Transport Modeller)
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role (Senior Transport Modeller)
• Detailed knowledge of transport models
• Desire to undertake projects of all sizes and the ability to ensure they are completed on time and budget
• Ability to promote and win work in this field
• Desire to manage and build a small team of professional staff
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and establish strong working relationships.
