SENIOR TRAFFIC ENGINEER Cardno

We are seeking enthusiastic professionals with a keen desire to work in the traffic engineering and transport planning field.
Our Traffic and Transport team partners with its clients to provide traffic and transport solutions for the community. Whilst our team has offices throughout Australia, we currently seek experienced traffic engineers to work in our Brisbane office. The successful candidates will lead traffic engineering projects and teams across the country and internationally.
The position offers the opportunity to:
  • promote your traffic engineering and transport planning skills
  • lead project teams on a variety of traffic and transport projects
  • work on a diverse range of domestic and international projects including traffic network planning, development master planning, transport and traffic operations and transport infrastructure planning
  • work with an energetic and motivated team in a great environment.
With a passion for shaping traffic solution outcomes, you will be involved hands on with client management, project management and team development. This position will allow you to develop and apply your leadership skills to manage projects, as well as promote client relationships. You will work alongside experienced traffic and transport professionals assisting you to develop your skills and enhance your career. Our work offers opportunities for travel throughout Australia and the world.
The key attributes essential for success in the current positions include:
  • minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • detailed knowledge of the traffic and transport industry
  • desire to undertake projects of all sizes and the ability to ensure they are completed on time and budget
  • ability to promote and win work in this field
  • desire to manage and train small teams of professional staff
  • ability to communicate effectively with clients and establish strong working relationships.
