The Position The purpose of the role is to lead the Teaching Planning and Course Operations sections of the Central Services team in the planning and delivery of teaching planning and course operations to programme teams, faculty and students. The post-holder will work collaboratively with a wide range of programme teams within DPO and across a wide range of additional School departments ranging from Subject Areas, Research & Faculty Office, Space Planning and Executive Education. The post-holder will ensure that all services are delivered to a high standard and in a timely and efficient manner.

The post-holder will also work closely with the Associate Director, Central Services and the Deputy Associate Dean in strategic planning and delivery of central services for degree programmes and will deputise for the Associate Director, Central Services as required.

The Department The Degree Programmes Office (DPO) is responsible for designing, promoting, recruiting for and delivering London Business School's portfolio of degree programmes, which includes the MBA, a suite of Executive MBA programmes (London-based, Dubai-based, EMBA-Global with Columbia Business School and EMBA-Global Asia with Columbia and HKU), the Sloan Masters in Leadership and Strategy, the Masters in Finance (full-time and modular) and the Masters in Management. The Degree Programmes portfolio represents over 50% of London Business School's revenues. With a number of programmes ranked in the top 10% by the Financial Times, including both the MBA and Masters in Finance ranked #1 in the world. The department also plays an essential role in supporting the School's brand and reputation.

The Central Services team in the Degree Programmes Office is responsible for the delivery of a range of programme, student and faculty services that are shared between the degree programme portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to, programme/academic planning, assessment, faculty services & communication and student support services.

The portfolio consists of 9 degree programmes with over 2400 students and 160 teaching faculty. Whilst the majority of students are based at the London campus, we operate programmes in Dubai and have partner programmes based in New York and Hong Kong.

The Individual You will have substantial experience of working and managing a team in a Higher Education or similar environment. You will be customer focused and will have experience of senior level administration and management of complex timetables demonstrating excellent forward-planning and time management skills.

You will have strong influencing and interpersonal skills to establish excellent working relationships at all levels. Have meticulous attention to detail and be able to successfully plan and manage own workload.
