Senior Network and Service Delivery Specialist Philippines

Position Overview:

1. Assist the Technology Services Manager (TSM) to ensure that Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), PABX, Voice Mail and other networking devices are performing at predefined service levels that meet local business needs and required security standards at ASEAN level. Involved with the Life Cycle Management of these technologies ensuring a consistence technology environment that minimized risk to our clients

2. Lead ASEAN Technology (Network) project from planning to implementation through to completion. Ensure project execution is on-time and on-budget. Liaise with key stakeholders including Project owner, Pacific IT and Global IT for budget implications, Infrastructure, ensuring that all needs are delivered and expectations are met, together with effective communication.

3. Deliver the IT infrastructure operation and service delivery for Indonesia Region, which include data and voice network, servers and end-user IT support. Provide a stable and reliable IT infrastructure environment.

4. Provide desk-side support, collaborating with Pacific IT Team, SMC team, KO Service Desk team, and other 3rd level support team, on prevailing incident and issue for possible trending and analysis works to ensure future infrastructure and network high availability.

5. Lead ongoing effort to improve and simplify internal processes by using and preparing necessary document and procedures

6. Provide technical support for ASEAN networking, both for data and voice network system. Participate in strategy development and implementation as needed align with Global standard

7. Manage local vendor relations and support contracts for network central infrastructure

Key Duties/Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with SMC and Pacific IT Shared Service Team as to leverage team’s monitoring function to ensure end-to-end network availability ASEAN in order to proactively identify or resolve problems in accordance with operational standards and procedures and to ensure network availability meets the agreed SLA. Perform problem and trend analysis assessment to identify and correct repetitive problems and increase overall system availability. 25%

2. Provide desk-side support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, minor enhancements, monitoring, testing) for IT infrastructure operation and service delivery for Indonesia Region, which include data/ voice network, servers and end-user support. Based upon feedback take appropriate steps to provide training, how tos, problem remediation or service escalation to vendors or other internal service providers. 25%

3. Gaps / Trend analysis report on system performance in order to ensure system high availability and stability providing regular operational status reporting. Communicate status of support items to TSM in order to follow up to implement required issue resolution. 10%


4. Coordinate appropriate installation, test, distribute or implement upgrades to existing systems and device configuration, vulnerability patches, software tools in order to support network infrastructure. 15%

5. Manage vendors and/or local IT support team to provide operational excellence. Review the SLA with the vendor in regular basis. 10%

6. Provide technical support to use and test approved Disaster Recovery tools, processes and scripting techniques to ensure availability of network services to support TCCC in the event of a Class 0 or 1 disaster. 5%

7. Other activities as directed by management. 10%

Education Requirements

• Degree graduate, preferably with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or a related technology field.
• Network Certification, at least CCNA

Experience/Other Requirements

• At least 6 years IT related work experience in the specified core competencies in a medium to large corporate or government organization including the area of:
• Network support and administration
• Workstation and server support administration
• Use and support Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge on LAN and WAN networking technology and TCP/IP protocol, as well as various data/ voice network technologies is a must
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies is preferable
• PC and Server hardware support is a must
• Fundamental knowledge of ITIL processes is preferable
• Customer / Process oriented attitude
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, presentation skills to work with definite functions.
• Proven project management skills, strong analytical analysis and problem solving skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
