POSITION SUMMARY
The Finance Manager, Handheld, Software and Services is an important role in the Finance team. The team contributes to the Company's success by leading and influencing key decision makers through financial modeling and analysis, identification of key business risks and opportunities and assisting in establishing optimal business solutions and measuring achievements. This position goes beyond the traditional finance role, requiring refined soft skills in helping establish a business partner rapport with senior levels of management and interacting with all areas of the organization in effort to gain a complete understanding of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
  • Empowering a team of financial analysts to align and provide first line finance support.
  • Developing business cases for our global Handheld, Software and Services pricing portfolio while assessing the financial viability through return on investment.
  • Analyzing business plans on new, in-life and end of life products.
  • Building an understanding of key business drivers as well as enforcing compliance with accounting and legal regulations.
  • Providing decision support to assist in mitigating risks and capitalizing on opportunities.
  • Fostering close professional relationships with other Finance groups and business partners.
  • Consistently drive to exceed expectations by delivering truly insightful analysis.
  • Supporting the translation of approved business cases / models into financial plans.
  • Continuously assess and identify process improvements.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • CA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, MBA or equivalent
  • Extensive experience as a manager in Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Executive presence and comfortable presenting to large groups
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and financial modeling skills
  • Demonstrated ability to convert analysis to actions / recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive in unstructured, complex environments
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks / priorities
  • Proven ability to foster strong working relationships with stakeholders
  • Detail oriented, rigorous time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership to meet deliverables on time as committed
