In Latin America, Catholic Relief Services works in 15 countries through a wide variety of partners including Catholic Church institutions, national and international non-governmental organizations, and civil society networks. All of CRS' programs are based upon shared values and operational relationships which capitalize on our complementary capacities to achieve the maximum, positive benefit for poor and marginalized people. CRS’ sees well managed, sustainable partners as the fundamental nexus to successful humanitarian and development interventions, contributing to high quality impacts on the lives of the poor and most vulnerable. As such, CRS offers partner capacity strengthening and institutional development based upon a relationship of common values and principles, and sustained by shared goals and resources. Through an organizational reflection process, CRS seeks to assist partners to identify strengths and weaknesses of core management functions including: governance, organizational structure, strategic direction, program development, resource mobilization, financial oversight, human resource management, and monitoring and evaluation.
