Quality Systems Advisor
Based: Haywards Heath with regular international travel
Salary: £35,000
This new role will lead innovation and change in our approaches to programme quality improvement. The successful candidate will initially support the roll out of the programme quality improvement systems by providing central support to Sightsavers country/area offices on the introduction and implementation of the system to ensure high quality programmes and maximum impact.
The post holder will need to be able to think creatively about how to undertake quality programme work to meet changing contexts and priorities around the world. S/he will also contribute to innovations that improve Sightsavers ability to identify, communicate and apply learning from quality improvement and monitoring processes.
To take on this challenge, you will need significant experience in developing and supporting generic development programme quality approaches and their assessment. Preferably with a master degree in international development, health, or quality you will have experience of performance monitoring for international development programs, including developing performance indicators, data collection and analysis along with excellent written and spoken communication skills. You must be willing to undertake up to 8 weeks overseas travel per year.
