Project Manager Implementation: Contract Role

Job mission

• : To effectively and efficiently manage the order implementation process from order receipt through to order close. Strong emphasis on the delivery of superior levels of customer service. To ensure that implementation costs are minimised and that revenues are realised.
• Project deployment of a key strategic customer for MTN Business with already pre-defined start and end date
• Required to:
Manage the project from current stage to completion
Develop a relationship with key internal and external resources
Understand the solution and projects deliverables in the shortest turnaround
Appropriate representation of MTN Business to the customer

KPA duties


Task Complexity:

Meet the company’s revenue [EBITDA] contribution & SG/A targets as defined by executive management

Installation implementation
• Validation of order details with customers
• Efficient ordering and implementation of services with an emphasis on customer service
• Exceptional customer service levels to assist in the retention of customers
• Professional interaction with engineering team members
• Ensure that all stakeholders are kept up to date on order progress
• Vendor management
• Facilitation of customer and/or vendor workshops
• Effective escalations to relevant stakeholders (sales person, line manager, etc)
• Efficient order close out to ensure soonest possible realisation of revenue
• Effective communication with internal teams
• Timeous order close out to ensure soonest possible revenue realisation
• Project documentation to be maintained
• Facilitate smooth handover to support environment

Educational requirements

Education:

• Matric (with Exemption)
• University Degree (desirable)
• Project Management related Diploma/Certificate (Eg Prince2 Foundation/Practitioner, etc)
• Technical qualification (CCNA, etc)

Experience required

• 3 Years proven track record of successfully managing projects according to Project Management methodology (Prince 2 or similar)
• 3 years experience in a customer service environment
• Experienced in stakeholder management
• Experienced in vendor management
• Strong technical background or understanding
* previous VOICE IMPLEMENTATION project experience
