As Project Information Officer for ActionAid you will use your proven track record in writing successful high value fundraising proposals and expertise in securing significant donations from major donors, charitable trusts, foundations and corporate donors to help us meet ambitious fundraising targets.

We’re a partnership between people in poor countries and people in rich countries – all working together to end poverty for good. Join our Philanthropy & Partnerships Team and you will enable the donor-facing Major Gift Managers to generate high value donations by providing the knowledge and information they need.

As Project Information Officer you will contribute to bringing existing and prospective donors closer to ActionAid’s work, by functioning as a source of programme expertise within the department. This will involve establishing effective relationships with country programme staff, leading on the development of bespoke proposals and reports with comprehensive budgets, and preparing key communications to inspire and educate a variety of high value donors. You will build the capacity of country programmes to manage high value income and work closely with them to set up and monitor grants.

Highly experienced at writing successful high value fundraising proposals and securing significant donations from major donors, charitable trusts and foundations and/or corporate supporters, you will have a good understanding of international development programmes including terminology and language, with excellent communication and project management skills.
