The British University in Dubai invites applications from experienced and dynamic candidates to join the Faculty of Business for the post of Professor/Associate Professor or Assistant Professor on the Finance and Banking programme. The selected candidate will have a strong international academic record in teaching Finance and Banking and will be able to teach in some other areas such as Financial Statement Analysis, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets and Investments, Islamic Finance, Quantitative Methods and subjects involving Econometrics and/or Financial Economics at post-graduate level.

Applicants with teaching and research interests in Investments and/or Islamic Finance and Banking are also encouraged to apply for this position and also demonstrate the ability to provide management and direction within a tertiary environment.

The successful candidate must hold a PhD and will be expected to have an established record of successful doctoral and masters level supervision, evidence of strong leadership skills, and experience of working on a postgraduate programme, preferably with a UK university. Experience of working in international contexts, particularly the Middle East, and teaching multicultural groups is desirable.
