CAREERS MADE OF DEFINING MOVEMENTS

Join the International Professionals Programme (IPP) and make this one of yours.

THE OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY GENERAL (OSG)

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is launching its exciting 2012 development programme. The IPP is a focused and intensive 23-month programme which affords you the opportunity to join this unique financial institution.

Our lives are defined by the opportunities we take – and the IPP is an opportunity like no other. It’s your chance to explore a challenging, fascinating world of work with the EBRD.

For two decades the EBRD has actively supported changing economies from the Western Balkans to the Mongolian steppes. We have championed businesses as they capitalise on green energy, helped countries access their natural resources and strengthened organisations ranging from financial institutions to local agribusinesses. The work we do shapes economies and has an impact on thousands of lives. This is your chance to take part.

Join the programme in the Office of the Secretary General and you will contribute to the development and implementation of the Bank’s policies. You will also provide vital support to the Secretary General and a range of teams within the OSG, assisting management with strengthening the political relationships the Bank has with the governments of EBRD shareholders - gaining more and more responsibility as you go.

During your 23 months on the programme you will rotate through three six-month placements in our London Headquarters and undertake one five-month assignment in one of our countries of operations. You will start and finish the programme in London.

The learning curve is steep, the ground covered is broad and our aspirations for you are high. So expect to be pushed far outside your comfort zone – culturally, geographically and intellectually. If you have what it takes, it could be the journey of a lifetime.

Join us and enjoy a career that defines lives. Find out more about the programme and apply for a position at www.ipp.ebrd.com
