West Angelas is a fly in, fly out operation located approximately 110km North West of Newman, and 1200km North of Perth, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Comprised of high grade Marra Mamba ore, the resources defined within the West Angelas area total over 1 billion tonnes. Facilities in the 1041 room camp include multipurpose tennis/basket ball courts, outdoor cricket pitch, swimming pool and fully equipped gym. The airstrip is adjacent to the Village and enables 100-seat Jets to fly directly from Perth in approximately 1½ hours.

We are looking for a dedicated person to fill our vacancy of Electrical Supervisor in the Mobile Equipment Maintenance team. Your role is to report to the Superintendent Mobile Equipment Maintenance in all matters relating to electrical safety of personnel and plant. You will be responsible for the statutory requirements accountable to the mines department. Other duties include the ability to manage and lead the activities of the MEM Electrical Team so that all plant and equipment are maintained to a standard that ensures a safe and cost effective operation and continuing process capability.
The successful applicant will have HV Electrical trade qualifications recognised by the WA Electrical License as an Electrician or Electrical Fitter/Mechanic and a current Western Australian HR Drivers Licence. It is essential that you have experience with Statex 3 G.E systems, extensive post trade experience in instrumentation, HV electrical maintenance and PLC programming in a MEM environment. Use of SAP Maintenance Systems will be highly beneficial.
