Marketing Director Northern Consortium UK

NCUK is a leading provider of pre-university pathway programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate international students worldwide. Established by eleven British universities in 1987, NCUK has enabled over 20,000 students to study in our partner universities. NCUK now has programmes running in China, Kenya, South Korea, Ireland, Japan, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Pakistan, Russia and the UK.

Thanks to its unique ownership and programme delivery structure NCUK has recently enjoyed year-on-year increases in its number of student enrolments and programme delivery centres. In order to support further growth and to capitalise on NCUK's inherent brand value we have created a new role of Marketing Director.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, ambitious individual capable of working in a small company operating in a dynamic business environment. Candidates should be comfortable working with both UK and other Universities and with private education providers in a range of countries world-wide. Above all they should be business focused, innovative and able to accommodate change.

You will ideally have a background in marketing in an HE context and be educated to postgraduate level. You will need to be organized with excellent IT skills, and able to prioritise, schedule and coordinate your own and others' work. You should also be willing to travel, both within the UK and overseas.

We will offer you the chance to work in a supportive team in a university-owned organisation. The starting salary will be in the region of £50,000 plus inclusion in the USS pension scheme. The post offers substantial opportunity for development for the right candidate. We are willing to consider candidates able to secure secondment from their current employer.
