Irish Language Performer - Young At Art

Young at Art is an arts charity for children and young people, and the organiser of the Belfast Children’s Festival. Applications are requested for the role of an Irish Language Performer for the Belfast Children’s Festival.

The post holder will read and perform stories in English and Irish for family event,

Tea and Tales / Sos agus Scéalta

from 9th to 16th March 2012. The successful applicant will be a fluent Irish speaker and have previous experience in Irish language performance. Event training will be given.

The performer will be based at the Assembly Rooms, Waring Street, Belfast.

Hours will be Saturday 10th – Friday 16th March 2012 inclusive (11.30 am – 5.30pm) plus two prior training sessions. Payment is at £70 per day with Expenses reimbursed where reasonably incurred and properly documented.
