Intern – Application Software

Sony Ericsson is a global mobile communications organization. In 2007, we opened an office in Silicon Valley (Redwood City, CA) responsible for bringing new and existing mobile products to the North American market. Having delivered the first PlayStation Certified phone to Verizon Wireless in spring of 2011, we are looking for students who are passionate about innovation with the drive to take cutting-edge mobile technology to the next level.
Sony Ericsson comes from a strong heritage, originally being formed as a joint venture in 2001, combining Sony’s consumer product knowledge with Ericsson’s telecommunication expertise. More recently in October 2011, it was announced that Sony acquired all of Ericsson’s shares in Sony Ericsson; ultimately, making the mobile handset business a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony.
We’re excited about strengthening our team with fresh minds that share our vision for building visually compelling, innovative, user-centered applications and services. If you’re that sort of person, bring your imagination and passion; and join us for an amazing place to start your career.
