Applications are invited for the following position, based at Great Noligwa Mine in the Klerksdorp/Orkney area:

INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

Applicants must have: • National Diploma (Instrumentation or Electrical) • Experience in fridge plants, compressors, cooling fans, conveyor belts, booster pumps and winders • PLC, MODICOM, Siemens and Mitsubishi experience • Knowledge of Profibus and Modbus TCIP protocols • Computer literacy, with extensive experience in MS Office • Experience in SCADA reporting and the development of new projects • Ability to obtain a certificate of fitness.

The salary will be in accordance with the AngloGold Ashanti Limited Schedule of Salaries.
