Humanitarian People Development & Training Internship

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain a deeper understanding of the humanitarian sector. It will enable you to gain an insight into to capacity building and also understand how a busy Humanitarian Section operates.

The main purpose of the internship is to support the Project Manager for Humanitarian Capacity Building, within the People Development & Training team in the Humanitarian Department at Save the Children, in the day-to-day management of a global training programme.

The Humanitarian People Development & Training team aims to

1) build the capacity of the humanitarian sector through training that develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours individuals require to operate safely and effectively in humanitarian emergencies, 2) develop surge capacity, and 3) manage people and talent development initiatives.

This role will primarily be focused on number 1, by providing administrative support in the day-to-day management of a multi – agency training programme.
