VSO UK is seeking a Financial and Fundraising Accountant to support the fundraising teams and the Global Income Growth project board with financial analysis upon which performance can be measured and monitored. This role involves managing the Global Income Growth cost centre; leading on the development and embedding of new metrics to support performance monitoring; leading on the improvement and integration of the organisation’s grant management system; supporting the Senior Management Accountant and the Geographical Finance Managers with reporting, and acting as a bridge between the UK and International accounts teams.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience of management accounting and financial analysis preferably gained within an international fundraising organization. A persistent and tenacious attitude is essential along with the ability to communicate effectively with people all over the organization and the ability to relate the work they do to the wider context of the organization.
