A unique opportunity has arisen for an Email Marketing and Systems Specialist. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce and working closely with the global Marketing teams, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge email marketing strategies to ensure customers receive personalized and targeted content. You will create, evaluate and further refine email marketing campaigns through the use of tracking methods and conversion metrics to achieve optimal levels of recipient engagement.

Using your knowledge of what it takes to create a successful campaign and how to measure it, you will quickly become an expert in our email system (Neolane). Neolane is an email solution which uses SQL, JavaScript and XML to generate highly dynamic email content using both automated and behaviour led workflows. Experience of Neolane is highly advantageous although training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Competitor analysis and keeping abreast of the latest email marketing best practices
• Maximizing inbox deliverability, split-testing, advanced targeting and segmentation
• Monitoring email KPI reports, highlighting trends and making recommendations
• Delivering cross-team training on Neolane and email marketing techniques
• Defining and monitoring email policies
• Continuous refinement and development to ensure the highest conversion.

The successful candidate will have a degree (or equivalent) in IT, Marketing or a related discipline. The position would suit someone with an IT background looking to transition to a commercial role or a Marketing practitioner wishing to specialize in digital channels, capable of demonstrating an aptitude for the technical aspects of the role.

Candidates will have excellent communication skills with a high standard of spoken and written English, coupled with good attention to detail. You will be a self-starter and confident working with a variety of teams across the business; including designers, marketers and scientists.
