Customer Network Support Engineer

Description

As a Service Engineer you will be:

· Working with CSR assigned according to global processes and procedures

· Monitoring the CSR while an answer/solution is created

· Maintaining system configuration records for SW, Market Features and Network Configurations for assigned customer

· Giving guidance amongst Operation & Maintenance instructions

· Implementing proactive maintenance procedures

· Assisting the SDM in data collection and reporting

· Performing all activities necessary to ensure In-Service Performance objectives for the assigned customer are achieved

· Supporting presales activities, including pre-studies

· Analyzing the customer's existing Networks/ systems needs and requirements

· Using the applicable processes and procedures to establish test specifications to integrate solutions, telecom nodes in a network

· On-site assistance

Qualifications

You have a broad knowledge within telecom and datacom, covering hardware, software and network knowledge. You enjoy working with people from around the world and across various disciplines, from customer technical staff to local authorities. You are self-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge.

You should also have

  • 2 years of experience in a similar position, and 4 years in Telecom
  • Very good IP and Packet switching knowledge (Multi vendor is a plus)
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • IP Certifications from different vendors is required
