CNN - New Business Development Manager

This role fully supports that of the New Business Development Director in identifying, developing and driving revenues from non-TV spending clients, potential advertisers with no media agency representation, clients identified within the new categories objectives and small media agencies outside of London who haven't previously spent with Turner. This role is based in our offices in Central London, near Oxford Circus.

Principle Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth administrative running of the New Business Devleopment group including approvals, airtime bookings, reconciliations and schedule monitoring. - Develop compelling sales collateral and presentations in support of the New Business Development Director's objectives. - Directly contacting advertising prospects, informing them of TMI's media offering and developing follow-up meetings with a view to developing new business. - In conjunction with the research team and Sales Director, identify potential kids targeted categories and develop sales presentations to target revenue from these potential advertisers. - Fully support the New Business Development Director in developing new advertisers and new categories for the TCM channels. - Work closely with the S&P team to develop speculative pitches to potential sponsorship partners across the kids channels and TCM for non-spending clients and agencies.

The Role Requires:
- This role requires a confident self-starter who relishes the opportunity to drive and develop business from areas where there is currently none. - The incumbent will be confident to pick-up the phone and call prospects cold, interest them with TMI's offering and arrange further meetings to fully engage them and develop them into advertisers. - They will be tenacious and able to deal with rejection. - They will have strong admin skills and be able to multi-task across airtime bookings and administration and business development. - They will have the abliity to develop excellent internal relationships as this role will require the ability to bring together all TMI and UK business facets in order to make the sale.
