Clinical Radiologist

Stipend scale: £36,862 - £46,696 per annum

Limit of Tenure: 3 years in the first instance

We require a Veterinary Radiologist to join the radiology team in the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital from 9 March 2012 or as soon as possible thereafter. You will be a key player in the provision of diagnostic imaging services in the Department, and will assist in the organisation and management of the service, which includes radiology, ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography. Participation in the practical and theoretical instruction of veterinary students and the training of Clinical Training Scholars will form part of the role. An on call commitment is required. You will benefit from the wide-ranging facilities available within the Hospital, including a strong team of support staff.

You should have at least 36 months' experience in a veterinary hospital environment, have attained or be eligible for the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) or the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or hold the RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Radiology, and have a veterinary degree registerable with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
