Chief Research Technician

Would you like to join a large, busy research group investigating the development of the visual system in Xenopus and zebrafish retina. The role will involve various molecular biology techniques including cloning genes, RNA and DNA purification, in-situ hybridisation, PCR design and execution; and assisting with the day to day running of the laboratory to ensure its smooth and efficient running. You should have an HNC (or equivalent level) qualification in a biological subject. Experience with the developmental systems mentioned above and relevant techniques as well as experience in a large laboratory would be highly preferred.
