Business Systems Lead, Voice services- Mediation systems

CONTEXT

TATA Communications requires an analytical, energetic, pragmatic individual to drive process improvement, project and system innovation for our mediation system that results in tangible increases in productivity and scalability for users in the organization. Create a balance of short and long-term solutions. Requires both a big picture understanding and low level attention to detail. A balance of business and technical understanding is paramount for success in this position. Mediation is an array of systems that collect records from network equipments and transform them into billable, operational and statistical records for operations, finance and decision making needs.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

Requirements planning: prioritize and author the user business requirements documents with input from the user base and other stakeholders Work in conjunction with systems architects to ensure that the solution proposed meets the business needs.

Business Process Management: Work with users to define, quantify and solve business/operational problems (e.g. need to decrease cycle time, reduce cost, improve customer experience, increase margin, improve quality, etc.)

Project Management: Manage schedule, cost, risk and quality

Acceptance planning: Perform end-to-end tests and post implementation testing

User Training: Produce and deliver training to users and mediation Ops team on changes

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 5 years experience in Business Process Management and/or Project Management; • A minimum of 3 years experience in Voice Telecommunications; • Autonomous with information technology tools and language (Outlook, Excel, Project and SQL); • Good organizational skills; • Ability to manage complex issues; • Six sigma training or certification an asset; • PMP certification from PMI; • Good command of spoken and written English.
