Assistant Safety Officer Group Five

Assistant Safety Officer (Ref. GF 17)


The successful candidate will assist the Senior Safety Officer in the business unit by implementing, administering and maintaining Safety, Health and Environmental policies and practices, in compliance with legislation and company safety systems.


Requirements: • SAMTRAC and ND: Safety Management • 2-3 years’ experience on major building construction sites • Good working knowledge of all health, safety and environmental legislation (including OHS Act and regulations) • Good working knowledge of the Workmen’s Compensation Act • Proficient in all technical aspects of safety management • A good
understanding of occupational health and safety procedures, policies and standards • Good interpersonal skills • Knowledge of Group Five Safety, Health and Environmental Systems • Proficiency in MS Office.
