Administration Manager Cardno

Our Traffic and Transport team partners with its clients to provide traffic and transport solutions for the community. Whilst our team has offices throughout Australia, we currently seek an experienced Administration Manager to be based in our Brisbane office.
With a focus on administration and client service for your internal clients, you will be responsible for providing and managing professional and efficient administrative services that support the day to day operations of the business unit the for Brisbane and Perth Traffic and Transport offices.
You will also manage the diaries of and perform general personal assistant related tasks for the Business Unit Manager and senior management team.
Other key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Establishing, managing and maintaining administrative support procedures for the smooth and professional operation of the business unit
  • Coordinating and conducting business unit inductions for new employees
  • Dissemination and communication of information across the business unit
  • Coordination of meetings, conferences and functions, including making travel arrangements for business unit staff
  • Establishing and maintaining filing systems relevant to the position
  • Processing invoices and performing other month-end financial processes
  • Preparing monthly project reports for project managers and Business Unit Manager
  • Co-ordinating administrative support within the business
  • Management and supervision of business unit administration staff in Brisbane and Perth offices
To be successful, you will have:
  • Certificate of Business Administration (desirable)
  • Knowledge of engineering/professional services industry (desirable)
  • Minimum 5 years administration experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite skills
  • Touch typing skills with a minimum of 60 wpm with 98% accuracy
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • The ability to manage, supervise and lead staff and develop strong positive business relationships.
